INSTRUMENT CHOICE WindLog – Wind Data Logger
ICWindlogThe WindLog is a compact wind data logger designed to accurately measure and record wind speed, direction, and gust for optimizing turbine placement and performance. Includes WindSoft free software package to generate statistics, graphs, and reports. The WindLog samples data every second and stores both average and gust readings at the user-selected interval. User selectable logging intervals range from 1-minute to 1-hour. The 2 MB memory can record for over three months at a 1-minute rate and store over a years worth of wind data at a 10-minute logging interval. The Mini-Aervane wind sensor is equipped with low friction race bearings. This reduces the threshold to approximately 1 mile per hour. Wind extension cables that separate the wind sensor from the WindLog are available in 50-foot or 100-foot length. The wind direction sensor has a 16-point resolution. Logged direction readings are averaged readings. The data logger operates on 3 AA Alkaline or Lithium batteries. Batteries are not included. Lithium batteries are recommended for cold environments. The typical life should be around six months. When connected to a computer, the WindLog will use the USB ports power to run, further extending the battery life. The WindLog ships with a 15-foot USB cable. Each WindLog ships with a free Windows-based application, WindSoft. The software uses an SQLite database to track and record wind information. While connected, WindSoft will update the database every minute. Downloaded data is integrated into the database. By combining both logged and real-time data, the WindLog can be used both online and offline. It also can export CSV files for use with Microsoft Excel or any other application that supports CSV files. The WindLog includes a support mast that can be used with the RainWise Mono Mount and Tripod. The mast may also be attached to a support structure using U-bolts or lag screws.3 Year Warranty (2 Year Manufacturer Warranty + Bonus 1 Year Instrument Choice Warranty)Wind Log Features:– 2MB flash memory data logger– Mini-Aervane wind sensor– WindSoft free software package– Support mast– 15-ft USB Cable(0 reviews) -

INSTRUMENT CHOICE Scarlet Heat Stress Detector
IC-TWL-1SPlease note; These units do not come with formal calibration certificates, if required please contact us to ensure the correct certificate can be provided.Features:– Dash board: Colorful LCD backlight tells you the risk level based on the TWL value. Work-rest schedule and fluid intake are integrated into the display. A countdown timer shows the time remaining before a recommended rest.
– Cup anemometer captures winds from any direction. You do not have to manually decide the wind direction before measuring the wind speed. Compared to the impeller, wind cup is not restricted to the direction of the wind. It considers all the horizontal components of winds that move the anemometer. A silicone pad covers the top of the bearing to prevent it from dust accumulation.– Data Logger : TWL-1S can record data with configurable sampling rate. PC side software helps download the data for further analysis using other analytical tools, and it also synchronizes the date and time of the device with PC.– Optimised Globe: TWL theory considers Mean Radiant Temperature (MRT), the most important parameter governing human energy balance. MRT can be derived from globe temperature (GT) measured by the black-bulb thermometer. The smaller the surface area of the black bulb, the greater the effect of the air temperature and air velocity is, thus causing inaccuracy of the calculation of MRT. Therefore, it needs a modifying formula to adjust it to the standard globe bulb with a diameter of 15 cm. The 7.5 cm globe bulb is the optimal size for a portable based on our research and experiments.– Sensor Protection : Delicate temperature and humidity sensor are well protected by a replaceable polypropylene (PP) filter in a solid shield, exempted the sensors from dust damage and external strike. A silicone pad protects the mechanism of anemometer from dust.Measurement specifications:– Air Temperature (Range): 0-60 C
