Kestrel-1000
Please note: These units will come with a “Certificate of Conformance” from Kestrel, however, in general this does not constitute a formal calibration certificate.
The Kestrel 1000 Pocket Wind Meter was the original meter of this type, and it is still going strong. Users will receive accurate current wind speed, average wind speed and maximum wind gust reports while on the go. The only thing that has changed about this reliable model over the years is the aesthetics of the unit.
The Kestrel 1000 can easily be switched between mph, km/h, ft/min, m/s, knots and Beaufort measurements. The meter features a one inch impeller mounted on a sapphire jewel bearing to ensure that it starts running at the slightest hint of air.
The unit comes with a protective case, a Kestrel Certificate of Conformity, a neck lanyard and a five year manufacturer’s warranty.
6 Year Warranty (5 Year Manufacturer Warranty + Bonus 1 Year Instrument Choice Warranty)
