FIRE RATED JOINT SEALANT
Sika® Firerate is an intumescent fire rated, 1-component, acrylic joint sealant.
- Up to 4 hours fire resistance according to AS 1530.4
- Very good resistance to weathering
- Movement capability of ± 20 %
Sika® Firerate is designed for fire rated movement and connection joints on porous and non-porous substrates. It is suitable for interior applications.

Pigmented, solvent based primer for paints and plasticsSika® Primer-209 D is a solvent-based, black primer that reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer acts as a link between substrates and adhesives.
Sika® Primer-209 D is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of Sika’s 1-component Polyurethanes. This primer might provide excellent adhesion without previous activation step on certain plastic substrates.Sika® Primer-209 D is used to improve adhesion on many plastics and paints such as GRP, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS, PMMA, PC, PS, acrylics, alkyds/melamine, powder coatings and baking varnishes.
