    Relief at the end of each slot enables proper seating of the cutting tool in the slot thus ensuring correct angle.
    The gauge clearly indicates 55° for Whitworth and BSF Threads; 47-1/2° for BA Threads, 60° for Metric and American National Threads and 14-1/2° for Acme threads.
