Usage
Sikaflex®-227 is suitable for sealing, seam sealing, simple bonding as well as for vibration reduction and sound deadening measures in crash body repair and car body construction. Suitable substrates are metal primers and paint coatings (2-c systems), metals, painted plastics and plastics.

CRC BRAKLEEN NON FLAMMABLE is a powerful, heavy duty cleaner and degreaser for brake, clutch parts and general mechanical equipment. It is formulated to quickly and safely dissolve and flush away grease, oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, hardened deposits and other contaminants, without the need for disassembly – reducing maintenance costs. Pigmented, solvent based primer for paints and plasticsSika® Primer-209 D is a solvent-based, black primer that reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer acts as a link between substrates and adhesives.
Sika® Primer-209 D is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of Sika’s 1-component Polyurethanes. This primer might provide excellent adhesion without previous activation step on certain plastic substrates.Sika® Primer-209 D is used to improve adhesion on many plastics and paints such as GRP, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS, PMMA, PC, PS, acrylics, alkyds/melamine, powder coatings and baking varnishes.
Due to the wide variety of plastics, it is mandatory to perform preliminary tests on original substrates under production conditions.
