Recommended for marine use on outboards, cables, electronics, fishing equipment, rollers, trailers, for agricultural use on cultivators, conveyors, slashers, irrigation equipment, farm machinery and for engineering use for metal protection, machinery maintenance, tools, chains and gears, anti-seize release agent, mould release and protection, for home use on camping & sporting equipment, hinges, locks, garage doors and finally for electrical use to protect PCBs, switch gear, inhibit oxidisation and salt crystallisation and corrosive atmospheres
Features/Benefits:
Heavy duty, anti-moisture, anti-corrosion natural lubricant. Contains no silicone or acids. Harmless to metal surfaces, plastics, paints, fibreglass, formica, rubber and neoprene seals. Doesn’t dry out or wash off with water.

Usage
Sikaflex®-227 is suitable for sealing, seam sealing, simple bonding as well as for vibration reduction and sound deadening measures in crash body repair and car body construction. Suitable substrates are metal primers and paint coatings (2-c systems), metals, painted plastics and plastics.
Seek manufacturer’s advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sikaflex®-227 on materials prone to stress cracking. This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Pigmented, solvent based primer for paints and plasticsSika® Primer-209 D is a solvent-based, black primer that reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer acts as a link between substrates and adhesives.
Sika® Primer-209 D is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of Sika’s 1-component Polyurethanes. This primer might provide excellent adhesion without previous activation step on certain plastic substrates.Sika® Primer-209 D is used to improve adhesion on many plastics and paints such as GRP, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS, PMMA, PC, PS, acrylics, alkyds/melamine, powder coatings and baking varnishes.
Due to the wide variety of plastics, it is mandatory to perform preliminary tests on original substrates under production conditions.
