CHEMTOOLS ChemTig™ Detecting Developer
ChemTig™ Detecting Developer
ChemTig™ Detecting Developer consists of a white powder suspended in solvents. It is applied as a final coating after surfaces have been prepared with ChemTig™ Prep-Solv Metal Cleaner & Degreaser, and ChemTig™ Red Dye Penetrant, whereby it develops and reveals microscopic cracks and flaws by pulling the entrapped penetrant to the surface by capillary action.
Detecting Developer is recommended for weld seam quality assurance, and is vital for detecting non-visible hair-line cracks in pressure vessels and tanks, engine blocks and automotive parts, valves and pipes, and lifting devices.

SIKA Sika® Primer-209 D
Pigmented, solvent based primer for paints and plasticsSika® Primer-209 D is a solvent-based, black primer that reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer acts as a link between substrates and adhesives.
Sika® Primer-209 D is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of Sika’s 1-component Polyurethanes. This primer might provide excellent adhesion without previous activation step on certain plastic substrates.Sika® Primer-209 D is used to improve adhesion on many plastics and paints such as GRP, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS, PMMA, PC, PS, acrylics, alkyds/melamine, powder coatings and baking varnishes.
Due to the wide variety of plastics, it is mandatory to perform preliminary tests on original substrates under production conditions.
Seek manufacturer’s advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sika® Primer-209 D on materials prone to stress cracking.
This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.(0 reviews)
