GalMax™ 90 Cold Galvanising Paint & Weld Through Primer
GalMax™ 90 Cold Galvanising Paint is a is a non-conductive weld through zinc-rich coating containing 90% zinc in dry film which protects clean steel in the same manner as hot dip galvanising, ie, by cathodic reaction. It gives exceptional long-term protection against rust and corrosion, and weathers to the same colour as normal galvanising.
With a guaranteed 99% zinc purity, GalMax™ 90 is supplied to a wide range of industries from marine to construction, and is ideally suited to touch-up welds and damaged structures or components. It is commonly used on marine and offshore rigs, during metal fabrication, for hot-dip gal repairs, and to rust proof bridges, cooling towers, fencing, piping, and metal roofing.

GalMax™ 93 Cold Galvanising Paint & Weld Through Primer
GalMax™ 93 Cold Galvanising Paint is a weld through zinc-rich coating containing 93% zinc in dry film which protects clean steel in the same manner as hot dip galvanising, ie, by cathodic reaction. It passes the tough ASTM B117-07, 168 hour salt spray test with no defects, and gives exceptional long term protection against rust and corrosion, weathering to the same colour as normal galvanising.
With 99% zinc purity, GalMax™ 93 is ideally suited for touch-up welds and damaged structures or components, and is supplied to a wide range of industries from marine to construction. GalMax™ NPR (No Primer Required) Galvanising Paint provides direct to metal corrosion protection, with or without primer, and dries to a smooth and durable rust fighting finish. It can be used extensively in the maintenance and restoration of damaged or worn galvanised metal, and for corrosion protection of steel/iron structures or equipment.
GalMax™ NPR offers excellent adhesion to most metals, and can be used on concrete and ceramics, as well as other interior and exterior surfaces. Common applications include radiators and industrial mufflers, roads and bridges, fences and pipes, metal roofs, and offshore rigs.
Note: For long-term and added protection on fresh welds or in coastal environments, priming the surface with GalMax™ 90 or GalMax™ 93 Cold Galvanising Paints or Zinc Oxide Primers (Grey or Red) is recommended prior to application.
