Hydrolube Pipe Jointing Compound
Hydrolube Pipe Jointing Compound is a versatile, non-petroleum-based thread sealant containing PTFE in a unique composition specifically engineered to provide excellent thread sealing properties on fittings, valves, and other plumbing components. With enhanced lubrication, it allows for speedy joint connections with immediate pressurisation when used with gases, potable water, and various other liquids.
Pipe Jointing Compound is non-toxic, contains no lead or metals, and is formulated to ensure superior performance while minimising environmental impact. The compound exhibits high leak prevention performance and a reliable seal between correctly made-up tapered thread connections to 50mm (2″) diameters. It is durable and long-lasting, and designed to withstand harsh environments, reducing the need for frequent re-application.
This product has been tested to conform to:
• British Standard BS EN 751-2: 1997: ‘Sealing Materials for Metallic Thread joints in Contact with 1st, 2nd and 3rd Family Gases & Hot Water’
• British Standard BS6920-1:2014 (Part 1 and 2): ‘Suitability of Non-Metallic Products for Use in Contact with Water Intended for Human Consumption with Regard to their Effect on the Quality of the Water’

Hydrolube Plumbing Thread Sealant
Hydrolube Plumbing Thread Sealant is a high-performance anaerobic paste, suitable for use on all active metals without the need for priming. Its excellent thixotropic nature prevents migration of the sealant before or during cure to ensure the absence of system blockages. It is a Class III methacrylate ester compound offering an immediate low-pressure lock and seal, with a rated working gas pressure of 2,000 kPa.
Plumbing Thread Sealant cures in the presence of metal and absence of air. Displaying high resistance to leakage and loosening, threaded connections in fixtures, pipes, joints, valves, and fittings are bonded with a reliable, long-lasting, strong but flexible seal that withstands vibrations, pressure, and temperature variations commonly encountered in plumbing systems. Its potable water safe formulation protects against corrosion, while also being safe for use with gas, LPG, hydrocarbons, oils, and most common chemicals.

Rapidstick™ 8-5811 Anaerobic Thread Sealant is a Class III methacrylate ester compound offering immediate low pressure resistance for all metal threads on pipes, joints, and fittings with variable pressures and alternating temperatures. It provides excellent lock and seal properties to resist loosening and leakage during testing and after full cure. Suitable for use on all active metals without the need for priming, its excellent thixotropic nature prevents migration.
8-5811 is a soft setting sealant with a potable water safe formulation that protects against corrosion, shock, and vibration. It will not creep, shrink, gall, migrate, or block systems, and is an excellent sealant for gases, water, LPG, hydrocarbons, oils, and other chemicals.
Note: It is recommended to prime inactive metals first with Rapidstick™ Anaerobic Adhesives Primer.

Rapidstick™ 8542 is recommended for hydraulic and pneumatic fittings in high temperature environments, providing low pressure resistance to all thread types immediately after application.
8542 prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration, protects from corrosion on all metal threads, pipes, and fittings, and will not creep, shrink, gall, migrate, or block systems.
It is ideal for sealing against gases, water, LPG, hydrocarbons, oils, and other chemicals, and its excellent thixotropic property prevents migration of the sealant before or during curing.
Note: It is recommended to prime inactive metals first with Rapidstick™ 8-3471 Anaerobic Adhesives Primer.

Rapidstick™ 8567 contains PTFE for advanced lubrication, and is ideal for coarse metal threads, pipes, and fittings. It provides an instant low pressure lock and seal to ensure no leakage occurs prior to cure.
8567 prevents corrosion and will not creep, shrink, gall, migrate, or block systems. It is ideal for all metal types, such as stainless steel, aluminium, and galvanised metals.
8567 is widely used for industrial plant fluid power systems, and is recommended for other industrial applications in the chemical processing, petroleum refinement, pulp/paper, waste treatment, textile, utilities/power generation, marine, automotive, gas compression, and distribution industries.
