Rapidstick™ 8232 Retaining Compound
Rapidstick™ 8232 Retaining Compound is a highly lubricating medium strength compound formulated to facilitate the assembly and removal of cylindrical fitting parts with heavy press/interference fits, or highly torqued threaded assemblies. It eliminates corrosion and prevents galling and pick-up during disassembly while increasing dismounting forces.
8232 displays excellent performance for retaining, sealing, and thread locking and can be used in high temperature environments and where bond gaps may approach 0.9mm.

Rapidstick™ 8609 Retaining Compound is a green, fast curing, low viscosity compound, ideal for close fitting parts, bushes, pulleys, and gears. As a general purpose ‘go to’ retaining compound, it also offers excellent sealing and thread locking properties, and is typically used to join rotor to shafts in fractional and sub-fractional horsepower motors.
8609 meets Military Specification MIL-R-46082B, Type I.

8620 is typically used for locating pins in radiator assemblies, retaining sleeves into pump housings, and bearings in auto transmissions.

Rapidstick™ 8641 Retaining Compound is a medium viscosity, medium strength, high temperature resistant versatile bearing compound that offers high performance, controlled strength, and excellent retaining, sealing, and thread locking properties. It is ideal for filling gaps with up to 0.20mm clearance, and for continuous working temperatures up to 148°C.
8641 is typically used for fittings, bearings, bushes, and oil seals, and is ideal for cylindrical parts that require disassembly. It also permits sliding fits and eliminates distortion.

Rapidstick™ 8660 Retaining Compound
Rapidstick™ 8660 Retaining Compound is a fast curing, high strength compound with a paste-like consistency and very good gap cure properties. It is designed for cylindrical fitting parts, particularly where bond gaps can approach 0.5mm.
8660 develops high strength rapidly when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces to prevent loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It is typically used for restoring correct fits on worn shafts, spun bearings, and damaged keyways.
8660 is also an excellent sealing and threadlocking compound.

8680 is designed for filling gaps with up to 0.15mm diameter clearance. It is typically used for retaining sleeves, pulleys, gears, rotors, and fans on shafts, as well as securing bushings, bearings, and plugs in housings. It is an excellent retaining, sealing, and threadlocking compound.
