POWERCOIL Hand Installation Tools

  • Hand Installation Tools (HIT) are used to install reduced diameter free running wire thread inserts into the tapped hole.
  • The extensive range of hand installation tools suits insert sizes up to M36 and 2″.
  • MIL spec inserts and Screw Locking inserts cannot be installed using a HIT. These inserts are installed using a Hand Installation Prewinder (HIP), Machine Installation Tool (MIT) or a Machine Installation Tool Pneumatic (MIP).
